£2.50/Free to Festival Friends

We are delighted to welcome international bestselling crime writer Sophie Hannah, who will provide an insightful talk about her work with, and for the Christie family writing Hercule Poirot novels, and the experience of becoming Agatha Christie’s continuation novel writer.

Sophie will talk about how she approached the formidable task of continuing the stories of one of literature’s greatest detectives, and her thoughts on Christie’s writing, style and plotting.

She will talk about her latest contemporary thriller, Haven’t They Grown, her How To Hold A Grudge self-help book and podcast, and her Dream Author coaching programme for writers.

Sophie will also return to the Festival, in person, for 2021!
