Translated from the French by Euan Cameron, Didier Decoin’s The Office of Gardens and Ponds has been described by the French media as “Exquisite” and “Enchanting”.

Miyuki, the grief-struck widow of Shimae’s master carp-catcher is the only remaining person in the village who knows anything about carp. She alone can undertake the long, perilous journey to the Imperial Palace and ensure her village’s future.

Euan will be talking about this fresh and fantastic book and his work as a translator, as well as his own stories.
