Newark’s Louise Blyth was 33 when her husband George died from bowel cancer, leaving her with one and three year-old boys. What she decided to do next was unexpected – she quit her dream job with Mars to write a book about what had just happened – a tale of grief and gratitude. And it struck a nerve. This self-published book, released during lockdown, went on to become an Amazon best seller. This caught the eye of publishing giants Hodder and Stoughton who signed her and published Hope Is Coming. Louise lives locally and wrote the book in several coffee shops across Newark; she can often be found in Newark Library with her children.
