Two crime writers, William Shaw and David Mark, in conversation. Both have much loved series, but also other sides to their writing and engagement with readers. In lockdown William’s daily social media events were a support to many; he was also integral to a volunteer-run community bookshop and workspace where established authors supported new writers. As well as his Aector McAvoy series, David’s recent honest and open memoir about living with mental illness addresses an important issue in troubled times.
