Shed of Stories
Capture the words and stories as they tumble out of a mysterious shed and onto the cobblestones of Newark Market Place. You’ll be leaving with wonderful tunes stuck in your head, magical words in your minds, and surrounded by laughter in this family-friendly story space packed with books and toys for all to enjoy.
Storytelling sessions take place:
10:15, 11:15, 12:15, 1:15, 2:15 and 3:15.

Author Book Signing
The brand-new Waterstones Newark is the official Festival Bookseller, for 2026. Waterstones will be running the Festival Bookshop at the Palace Theatre and pop-up book stalls for author book signings after every event at each venue.
