Whether it’s £5 or £500, your donation goes directly towards supporting the book festival and our outreach and community activities, this includes:

The main Festival in July, including free events for families

Local schools’ programme including author-run events. This year we aim to engage with over 1200 local children

Young Journalists Academy – for primary & secondary children interested in pursuing careers in journalism

Community outreach, including pop-up festivals in rural locations with local heritage partners
