About the Author

A proud member of the LGBTQ+ community and ordained priest in the Church of the Latter Day Dude, J.A.C. Beardmore has been a storyteller since he penned his first short story at the age of 7. A life fraught with misfortune and unexpected complications not only held him back from pursuing his creative ambitions for many years, but also helped shape the stories he would eventually unleash upon the world. After completing a Law degree in his early 20s, Beardmore finally got around to self-publishing his first 2 novels. Following these 2 trial runs he honed his craft, working for a couple of years with a literary agent, before opting for an amicable separation to pursue his endeavours independently, whilst tutoring others in all he had learned over the better part of the previous 30 years. Today, he boasts a modest following for his work in the North American market, and likes to help aspiring authors, wherever he can. The first 2 novels of his current THUMBverse series have been well receive by reviewers, with his latest (This Way Lies Madness) marking the beginning of a larger story arch within the series.
