Wine & Words
Join local poets Fiona Theokritoff and Jane Wyles for an afternoon of poetry, wine and afternoon tea at Newark’s Boardgame Café. Fiona and Jane will perform an entertaining mix of their own work, as well as some well-loved poems. You’ll also have the chance to contribute to the Wine and Words poem for 2026!

Author Book Signing
The brand-new Waterstones Newark is the official Festival Bookseller, for 2026. Waterstones will be running the Festival Bookshop at the Palace Theatre and pop-up book stalls for author book signings after every event at each venue.
