- The main Festival in July, including free events for families
- Local schools’ programme including author-run events. This year we aim to engage with over 1200 local children
- Young Journalists Academy – for primary & secondary children interested in pursuing careers in journalism
- Community outreach, including pop-up festivals in rural locations with local heritage partners
